  64. 0801Npleasing moment for me.  The Zoo has hung on a thin thread (poor anology) for
  65. 0801Nthe last few months.  Over summer 1997 the magazine seemed reinvigorated and
  66. 0801Nsafer than ever.  The chief creators and contributors all gathered together,
  67. 0816Y29C1Y29C2Y36C1Nmeeting regualy and climaxed (ha-ha) with a group vacation to the Reading
  68. 0801NFestival.  Fantastic.  You can read more about this throughout this issue,
  69. 0801Nalthough I guess the music section might be a good place to start.  Of course
  70. 0801Nthe Reading articles are personal things, but they've been well passed around
  71. 0801Nand come well recommened.

  73. 0801NSo, as I said The Zoo hung on the string...  Reading was a final moment of
  74. 0801Nglory and what followed was that the entire Panda core (Cachet, myself,
  75. 0801NFishboy etc.) got split up through uni.  This had of course happened before
  76. 0801Nwith select members leaving the close knit unit but never on this scale.
  77. 0801NUniversity is great.  If your not thinking of going and can then do.  The
  78. 0801Nthing is that it's so intense.  Every bit of free time is channeled into
  79. 0801Ngoing out, talking, drinking, smoking and playing 2 players on the Amiga.
  80. 0801NLife as it was (for what it was worth) loses all the stability that, truth be
  81. 0801Ntold, you wanted to get rid of anyway.  Nothing gets done.  Too busy trying
  82. 0801Nto keep up with work.  Too busy trying to keep up (and failing) with meals.

  104. 0801Npulled this sullied beast off the polution of the web by now.  Thanks to a
  105. 0801Nlittle bit of effort and sod all help this position has now been rectified
  106. 0801N(always nice to have that happen to you) and we can now boast a new decent
  107. 0801Nwebsite.  The Panda Homepage has downloads, chat room, a message box system,
  108. 0801Nphotos and info on the team, a regular news update service and some smashing

  121. 0801NThe Amiga is dead.  You know it.  Its been dead for years and now its not
  122. 0801Neven taboo to admit the fact and Amiga owners won't disown you if you leave
  123. 0801NTHE machine anymore.  What's left the Amiga community is a collection of
  124. 0801Nhardcore fans who expand to infinitum and second hand buyers looking for
  125. 0801Ncheap frills.  The only Amiga owners left must protect a dead machine.  A
  126. 0801Nbroken chip or a knackered disk drive could spell the end of the line for an
  127. 0801Ninadequately supported machine.  A cripple: Amiga. My own diskdrive has gone
  128. 0801Nso I must bid the internal goodbye... no more bootblock demos or badly
  129. 0801Nprogrammed disk-based games when your using a slow external diskdrive as your
  130. 0811Y30C7Y35C1Nsource.  Yes it's the external Cax drive!  Its back and now its needed.

  132. 0801NAt least some things are encouraging.  Computing is becoming avalible to the
  133. 0801Nmany through internet cafes, schools, colleges, libraries, unis etc.  And
  134. 0801Nreal machines with real power.  About fuckin' time.

  137. 0801NMmrr and Wigboy and a handfull more.  While they may not have changed the
  138. 0801Nface of Briitsh literature they tried and at least they stopped us from
